A Seamless Vocational Education Pathway
Spectra offers a dual-certification programme: our students will complete and graduate with a Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) and an ITE Skills Subject Certificate (ISSC). The ITE Skills Subject provides hands-on vocational education in an authentic learning environment for our students.
Vocational Education Programmes
Spectra offers the following 5 ITE Skills Subjects (ISS):
- Culinary & Restaurant Operations (CRO)
- Internet of Things Applications (IOTA)
- Mobile Web Applications (MWA)
- Mechanical Design & Automation (MDA)
- Retail and e-Commerce (REC)
At lower secondary levels, students are exposed to Vocational Education course tasters that prepare them for the full range of ITE Skills Subject offerings.
In the upper secondary programme, students will specialise in two ITE Skills Subjects and complete an onsite work attachment via our Industry Experiential Programme (IEP).
Unique Vocational Education CCAs
Spectra also offer opportunities such as learning journeys to ITE campuses, workshops by industry partners, preparation for Early Admission Exercise (EAE) to ITE, and unique CCAs to equip our students for their ITE course of choice.
Through a diverse range of unique CCAs, we empower students to aspire toward their dreams. Our students discover new interests, develop their talents and build on their strengths. Our dedicated teachers encourage students to experiment, learn new skills and pursue their passion in the following CCAs: Young Chefs, Young Creators, Young Engineers, and Urban Farmers.
